As a posture and sitting expert, Lisa has taught workshops for meditators on how to sit in a more tension-free way, to support a quieter mind and an ability to sit longer without pain; and as an embodiment expert, she has taught workshops for feeling more at home inside an uncomfortable body, whether due to life-threatening illness, weight issues, or abuse.

Lisa Stendig is an Inner Body Yoga and Embodiment instructor and has been working with Angela Farmer for almost 20 years. While living in New York City, Lisa taught weekly yoga classes at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU; for the NYPD at the 28th Precinct in Harlem; and specialized in one-on-one instruction, for yoga, embodiment, and weight loss.
In addition, for 15 years Lisa had in NYC a private practice for Intuitive Healing, work designed to uncover what is hidden in the unconscious that’s affecting what is happening in your body and in your life.   Now residing in Asheville, Lisa is happy to be offering weekly classes, as well as private sessions, in her own studio space.  Her overall commitment is to help people heal their relationships with their bodies.
